Flea & tick exterminator near you
Fleas on the dog, bites round your ankles, and they’re back two weeks after every spray. Call and we put you through to a local company that does the house and the yard together and breaks the egg cycle.
- Real person answers, day or night
- Same-day visits in most areas
- Price agreed before work begins
- No obligation
Is this what you have?
The signs
- Pets scratching, chewing at their fur, or losing hair in patches
- Bites clustered around the ankles and lower legs
- Tiny dark specks on the carpet that jump when disturbed
- Flea dirt in the pet bedding — black specks that go red when damp
- Ticks found on a pet or a person after time in the yard
- Fleas still there weeks after a store-bought spray
Heads up. Treat the animal the same day as the house — ask your vet which product. Without that, the pet simply re-seeds the carpet.
On the day
What the technician does
- Inspection
Pet areas, carpet, upholstery, floor cracks, and the damp shaded parts of the yard where fleas and ticks develop.
- Indoor treatment
Carpet, furniture, pet bedding areas and baseboards, with an adulticide plus an insect growth regulator so eggs and larvae don’t mature.
- Yard treatment
Shade, under the deck, along the fence line and wherever the animals lie down.
- Follow-up
Pupae keep hatching for up to two weeks afterwards, so it is either a second visit or a clear vacuuming routine to cover that window.
Practical
Getting ready, and what it runs
Preparation
Vacuum everywhere and empty the vacuum outside. Wash the pet bedding hot. Get clutter off the floor. Line up the vet’s flea product for the same day.
One visit or ongoing
Often two visits. Houses with pets in warm states usually keep a seasonal yard treatment.
What moves the price
- Indoors only, or indoors plus the yard
- Square footage and how many carpeted rooms
- How heavy it is and how many animals
- Whether the follow-up is in the price
Questions
Fleas & ticks — questions we get a lot
Who do I call for fleas in the house?
Call (833) 784-1375 and we connect you with a local company that handles fleas and ticks.
Why do they come back after I spray?
Sprays kill adults but not the pupae in the carpet, which keep hatching for weeks. A growth regulator plus a follow-up is what closes that gap.
Do we need to go out?
Usually for a few hours while it dries. The technician will tell you when to come back with the animals — it is on the product label.
Can the yard be done for ticks as well?
Yes. Yard treatment for fleas and ticks is standard where there are pets or woodland at the boundary.
